林墉，1942年生，广东潮州人。1966年毕业于广州美术学院中国画系。曾任中国美术家协会副主席、广东省文学艺术界联合会副主席、广东省美术家协会主席、广东画院副院长等职。现为中国美术家协会顾问、广东省文学艺术界联合会顾问、广东省美术家协会名誉主席、国家一级美术师、中国国家画院院委、研究员。

Lin Yong was born in 1942 in Chaozhou, Guangdong. In 1966, he graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. He was the vice chair of China Artists Association, vice chair of Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chair of Guangdong Artists Association, and vice president of Guangdong Painting Academy. He is an advisor to China Artists Association, an advisor to the Guangdong Province Federation of Literary and Art Circles, an honorary chair of Guangdong Artists Association, a national top-level artist, and an Academy Committee member and a research fellow of China National Academy of Painting.
