黄格胜，1950年生于广西武宣。现为致公党中央副主席，中国美术家协会副主席，广西壮族自治区政协副主席，全国政协常委，中国国家画院院委、国画院研究员。系漓江画派促进会会长、博士生导师、硕士生导师。曾任广西艺术学院院长。

Huang Gesheng was born in Wuxuan, Guangxi in 1950. He is now vice chair of the Central Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, China Artists Association, and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’s Political Consultative Conference. Huang is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, an Academy Committee member and a research fellow at the Traditional Chinese Painting Institute of China National Academy of Painting. He is president of Lijiang Painting School Association and a supervisor for doctor and master candidates. He was the president of Guangxi Arts Institute.
