郭怡孮，1940年生于山东潍坊。现任中央美术学院教授、博士生导师，中国画学会会长，中国国家画院院委、国画院副院长、研究员。系中国美术家协会理事。1962年毕业于北京艺术学院美术系。

Guo Yicong was born in 1940 in Weifang, Shandong. He is a professor and a doctoral supervisor at Central Academy of Fine Arts, the president of Chinese Painting Society, a member of the Academy Committee of China National Academy of Painting, vice president of the academy’s Traditional Chinese Painting Institute, and a research fellow at the academy. He is a council member of China Artists Association. In 1962, he graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Beijing Academy of Fine Arts.
