蔡超，1944年生于上海嘉定。曾任江西省文学艺术界联合会副主席，江西省美术家协会主席，江西书画院院长，江西省博物馆馆长等职。现为中国美术家协会理事，江西省美术家协会名誉主席，国家一级美术师，中国国家画院院委、研究员。

Cai Chao was born in 1944 in Jiading, Shanghai. He served as vice chair of Jiangxi Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chair of Jiangxi Province Artists Association, Jiangxi Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, and curator of Jiangxi Provincial Museum. He is now a director of China Artists Association, honorary chair of Jiangxi Artists Association, a national top-level artist, and an Academy Committee member and research fellow at China National Academy of Painting.
