画家简介

王明明，1952年生于北京。现为北京市文化局副局长、北京画院院长、中国美术家协会副主席、北京市文学艺术界联合会副主席、北京市美术家协会主席、国家一级美术师、中国艺术研究院博士生导师、中国国家画院顾问、院委、国画院研究员。1978年考取中央工艺美术学院未入学，同年调入北京画院从事专业创作。

Wang Mingming was born in Beijing in 1952. He is the deputy director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture, president of Beijing Fine Art Academy, vice chair of China Artists Association, vice chair of Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chair of Beijing Artists Association, a national first-level artist, a doctoral supervisor of Chinese Academy of Arts, advisor and Academy Committee member of China National Academy of Painting, and a research fellow at the academy’s Traditional Chinese Painting Institute. In 1978, he passed the entrance examination of the Central Academy of Arts and Design, but did not enroll. In the same year, he was transferred to Beijing Fine Art Academy as a professional painter.
