石虎，1942年生于河北。现为中国国家画院国画院研究员。1958年考入北京工艺美术学校，1960年入浙江美术学院，1962年入伍，1968年任教于北京工艺美术学校，1977年任职人民美术出版社。

Shi Hu was born in 1942 in Hebei. He is a research fellow at the Traditional Chinese Painting Institute of China National Academy of Painting. In 1958, he was admitted to the Beijing Arts and Crafts School; in 1960, he was enrolled at Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts. Two years later, he enlisted in the army. In 1968, he became a teacher at the Beijing Arts and Crafts School; and in 1977, he began to work at the People’s Fine Arts Publishing House.
