陈国勇，1948年生于重庆丰都。现为西安美术学院中国画系教授、中国国家画院国画院研究员。1977年毕业于四川美术学院中国画系；1980年毕业于西安美术学院中国画系山水画专业，并留校任教。
Chen Guoyong was born in 1948 in Fengdu, Chongqing. He is a professor of the Chinese Painting Department of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts and a research fellow at the Traditional Chinese Painting Institute of China National Academy of Painting. He graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1977; and graduated with a degree in landscape painting from the Chinese Painting Department of Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in 1980 and stayed there as a teacher.
