陈平，1960年生于北京。现为中央美术学院中国画学院院长，中央美术学院硕士生、博士生导师，中国艺术研究院博士生导师，中国国家画院国画院研究员。系中国美术家协会理事，中国书法家协会会员，中华诗词学会会员，中宣部“四个一批”人才，享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴的专家。1984年毕业于中央美术学院中国画系。
Chen Ping was born in 1960 in Beijing. He is the dean of the Chinese Painting Institute of Central Academy of Fine Arts, a master’s and doctoral supervisor at the academy, a doctoral supervisor at Chinese National Academy of Arts, and a research fellow at the Traditional Chinese Painting Institute of China National Academy of Painting. He is a member of China Artists Association, Chinese Calligraphers Association, Chinese Poetry Society, the “Four Batches” program of the CPC Publicity Department, and a recipient of a special government allowance granted by the State Council. In 1984, he graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts.
