陈永锵，1948年生于广东南海西樵。现为广东省美术家协会副主席、岭南画派纪念馆馆长、中国国家画院国画院研究员。系中国美术家协会理事、国家一级美术师。曾任广州画院院长、广州市文学艺术界联合会常务副主席等职。1981年毕业于广州美术学院国画系研究生班，获硕士学位。
Chen Yongqiang was born in 1948 in Xiqiao Town of Nanhai County in Guangdong Province. He is vice chair of Guangdong Artists Association, curator of Lingnan Painting School Memorial, and a research fellow at the Traditional Chinese Painting Institute of China National Academy of Painting. He is a member of China Artists Association and a national top-level artist. He served as president of Guangzhou Art Academy and vice chair of Guangzhou City Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In 1981, he graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts with a master’s degree.
